Walking/running around the track for 24 hours. Each team tries to
keep at least one team member on the track at all times.
At 6 PM, the first lap is dedicated to honor survivors of cancer. A
candlelight ceremony is held at dusk to honor survivors and those who
have lost the battle against cancer. Luminaries with the honorees'
names are placed around the track .
Stampede has participated in this event for the past two years, and is
looking forward to this year's event. Stampede is proud to be one of
the entertainers who keeps the spirits of the teams high during the late
hours of the night. Even rainy weather doesn't damper the enthusiasm
of everyone involved!
Stampede will begin playing their set at approximately 10 PM, rain or
shine.
